oh my gosh the last panel actually made me tear up

I can’t tell you how accurate this is

This is a really good depiction of social anxiety because it focuses on inner states rather then outward actions. As someone very good at concealing his anxiety, I appreciate it.

I can relate to that.

Fun guy chillin’ in South American rainforest finds plastic-eating fungi
Seriously, though this is kind of a big deal. Know that big problem we have? You know, the one involving a crapload of used plastic hanging around in landfills with nowhere to biodegrade for a couple million years? Well, Jonathan Russell might’ve solved that problem. See, Russell and his fellow Yale students went to Ecuador, where they found a new kind of fungus they’re calling Pestalotiopsis microspora. Big deal, you’re thinking. Anyone can find fungus anywhere! Well, something his fellow students found out after the fact is that this fungus can live on a diet of polyurethane alone — and even crazier, it doesn’t even need air to do so! In other words, we could potentially put it at the bottom of a landfill and cover it with plastic, and it would do the rest of the work. This might be game-changing if it works as advertised. This one of the largest old growth forests left and Reflex paper is behind is horrific destruction

If you want to give this forest a chance please visit The Wilderness Society’s website

A teenage secretly scaled New York’s tallest new building — and the photos are incredible

432 Park Avenue, a luxury high-rise condo in New York, isn’t officially open yet, but it’s already had its first unwelcome visitor.

Demid Lebedev, who’s better known as demidism on Instagram to his 11,527 followers, scaled the nearly 1,400-feet high skyscraper last week and boasted about it on the social network.

Unfortunately, the police were following too | Follow micdotcom
